R12: Install, Patch, and Maintain Oracle Applications
This course explains how to go about installing and maintaining an Oracle Applications Release 12 system. Both Standard and Express installation types are covered in detail. Maintenance topics include a detailed examination of the standard tools and utilities, and an in-depth look at patching an Applications system.
After this course, students will be able to make informed decisions about how to install an Oracle Applications system that meets their specific requirements, and how to maintain the system afterwards. The extensive hands-on practices include carrying out a Linux-based installation, navigating the file system to locate key files, running the standard maintenance tools and utilities, and applying patches to the system.
R12 Financials New Features Fundamentals
Get introduced to the new features of the Oracle Financials Release 12 applications that include Oracle Payables, Oracle Receivables, Oracle General Ledger, Oracle Purchasing, and Oracle Cash Management. The course teaches you how to set up some of the new features. It also provides a base of knowledge for your analysis of the new features in order to use them optimally.
The course takes you through key functions that include multi-org access control, sub-ledger accounting, E-Business tax, and much more. It explores migration and upgrade considerations that will help you utilize the new features effectively.
R12 Financials Functional Foundation
Students will learn how to use Oracle core financial applications. They will also learn how information flows though the major tables associated with business functions. This course also covers Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and the key technology components of the E-Business Suite tools such as security and flexfields. Detailed information about the underlying architecture and tables is provided, and lectures are backed up with hands-on practices.
At the completion of this course, students will be able to understand the major business functions associated with Oracle Financial Applications, as well as the associated application technology architecture.
11i: Navigate Oracle Applications
In this course you will learn how to access and navigate within Oracle Applications, release 11i. Students learn to enter data, retrieve information in the form of a query, maintain data, use flexfields, and access online help.
11i: E-Business Essentials
This course provides an overview of the Oracle E-Business Suite. It covers all the essential areas that a functional implementer should know to start the journey with Oracle Applications.
11i: Financial Applications Overview
The 11i Financial Applications Overview course provides an overview of the financial process. It includes introduction to the eBusiness Suite, General Ledger, Procure to Pay flow overview, Suppliers, Purchasing, iProcurement, Payables, Internet Expenses, Assets, Order to Cash flow overview, Customers, Trading Community Architecture, Receivables, Order Management, Cash Management and Project to Profit flow overview.
11i: Applications System Administrator
In this course students learn concepts and functions that are critical to the System Administrator role. Students learn information useful for implementing and managing the 11i E-Business Suite. Tasks covered include setting up security and user management, concurrent processing, profiles, and workflows; students also learn how to personalize Oracle E-Business Suite Forms and HTML pages. In addition, students learn how to monitor and audit an E-Business Suite system.
11i: Implement Oracle Workflow
This course provides an overview of the architecture and features of Oracle Workflow and the benefits of using Oracle Workflow in an e-business environment. You can learn how to define event subscriptions to perform processing triggered by business events and how to design workflow processes to automate and streamline business processes.
11i: Install, Patch and Maintain
11i Install, Patch, and Maintain Oracle Applications provides students with a basic understanding of the Oracle Applications architecture, database and file system. This course teaches the concepts and skills required for an Oracle Applications DBA and system administrator.
11i: Financial Functional Foundation
The Financials Functional Foundation course is designed to provide table knowledge related to core Oracle Financials applications. That is, students are provided with a brief overview of many of the core applications, along with information related to the major tables and the corresponding data flow, and the associated major business functions.
11i: Purchasing
n this course, participants learn how to set up and use Oracle Purchasing to manage the purchasing process. They learn how to manage suppliers, create and maintain request for quotations and quotations. They also learn how to create requisitions and purchase orders and apply document security, routing and approval methods and also manage receipts.
11i: Payable Fundamentals
This course provides an understanding of Oracle Payables, and key implementation issues in the application. After completion, students will be prepared to make basic implementation decisions involved in launching the Payables process.
11i: Project Foundation Fund.
In this course, students will learn about the implementation of 11i Oracle Project Foundation. The course encompasses key setup considerations, from defining calendars to creating project templates, and explains some of the impacts of implementation decisions.
11i: Financials Migration
n this course you will learn new functionality and the associated implementation considerations for upgrading your Oracle Financials products from Release 10.7 to Release 11i. 11i Financials Migration is part of the implementation consultant learning path and is designed to help you make strategic upgrade decisions.
11i: General Ledger Management Fundaments
This course prepares Implementation consultants to institute statutory financial controls, reduce the period close cycle, access financial data, and deliver comprehensive financial reporting.
11i: Procurement Fundamentals
This course provides a comprehensive understanding of Oracle iProcurement catalog management, ordering, and receiving functionality.
